Problem/ solution paragraph: CONSUMERISM

Most of today´s society has became consumerist. Nowadays, people buy and throw out products very quickly and it is a serious problem because having and buying new products are being more important than appreciatting and valuing things we have. This problem concerns especially the young people because they are influenced by advertising. Moreover, there are people that buy with borrowed money by credit card. If they don´t control their expense, they will be more and more addicted to consume. This problem is associated to a lacking of self-confidence by buyers. One solution to the problem could be learn to value and thank what we have, don´t compare us with others and realize that what counts is what you are, not what you have. A final anwer is to go shopping with a list in which are noted all thing we need and above all, avoid adverts that envolve us. Thus, you won´t consume as much as before.
